Hey! My name is Emily and I live in a small Southern town where life is anything but boring!! In September, 2015 I lost my husband, Greg. Together we had 2 little girls: Maggie and Linnie. Since then my life has been full of chaos and change. This blog became an outlet for me and has served as the backbone of my book, Burdens.
Fast forward to 2019: I am now happily married to Heath and have 2 step children. Have you heard Gary Allen’s song, Life Ain’t Always Beautiful? Well, you should! There’s a lot of truth in that song and it is practically my theme song. “Life ain’t always beautiful, but its a beautiful ride”.
My faith and my trust in God’s divine plan has truly gotten me to where I am today. I didn’t choose this path, but I’m on it and I might as well make the best of it!

Telling My Story Today 
Hi EMILY, I AM SO GLAD TO HEAR YOU ARE DOING BETTER AND GETTING BETTER. I TOO HAVE A SLEEPING PROBLEM AND HAVE HAD FOR YRS. I WILL SLEEP LIGTLY MAYBE 4 hrs or so most nights but up the rest and stay tired. I had bladder cancer 18 mosagobut am clear now it took a lot out of me. I got marrried in Dec after almost 15 yrs without John to KERRY GREENE. I OR WE ARE VERY HAPPY. WE GRADUATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL TOGETHER. SO WE KNEW EACH OTHER LONG TIME. HIS LATE WIFE TERESA HAS BEEN DEAD FOR ABT 5 and a half years. Would love to get your blog when you do them. So glad to you are and happy. The girls have just grow up and are so beautiful.
